It’s the world’s most famous music festival that has attracted the biggest names for decades, from David Bowie to Billie Eilish.

This year’s event, which kicks off in just a few days, will be headlined by Dua Lipa and Coldplay.

While illustrious, they don’t have the regal pull of King Charles and Prince Harry, who are among the royals who have attended in the past.  

And Prince William previously revealed that attending the Somerset musical extravaganza was on his and Kate’s bucket list. 

During an interview on BBC Radio 1 in 2017, William said: ‘I’ve talked about going to Glastonbury before because I do love my music and Catherine as well.’ 

But he added that, due to security issues, ‘it’s kind of best to keep away from that.’

So while the Prince and Princess of Wales may not have visited Worthy Farm just yet, here are the royals who have been lucky enough to attend Glastonbury.
