Former Danity Kane member D. Woods is speaking out on her allegedly troubling experience working with .
On Monday, January 27, the 41-year-old singer appeared on Good Morning America ahead of the premiere of the Investigation Discovery network’s new , which focuses on the 55-year-old disgraced musician’s alleged sex crimes.
Danity Kane was formed on Diddy’s MTV reality show Making the Band 3 in 2005. Woods claims the “I’ll Be Missing You” singer mistreated many of the girls, recounting how “He did it in different ways with all of us, you know, picking and prodding and just a way to chip and knock away, but then praise you.”

When asked in the interview what ways Diddy acted “predatory” towards her, the “Damaged” singer recalled consistently being sexualized by him.
“Somebody constantly treating you like a piece of meat, only valuing you for your sex appeal,” she remarked. “In some of the environments, it was even scary to be by yourself.”
In a preview clip for the docuseries, Woods can be heard saying, “I see myself standing in those dark, scary predatory spaces and hearing somebody say some of the most degrading things to me.”
In October 2008, the Bad Boy Records founder fired Woods and fellow Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day from the group. O’Day, 40, has been vocal about how the music mogul .
In the docuseries, Woods reportedly claims to have seen “inappropriate communications” from the record executive to O’Day before she was dropped from the group. Woods told GMA that the girls had no one to talk to about the situation except “each other,” saying, “It’s like how do we survive this.”
Diddy was arrested and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution in September. He is behind bars at a Brooklyn detention center awaiting his trial in May of this year. The three-time Grammy Award winner has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. In October 2024, 120 additional victims came forward with lawsuits accusing him of sex crimes. The music mogul denies all the accusations against him.
